This past quarter, CFNI staff had the opportunity to participate in a missions outreach to the Amazon — one of the most remote and challenging environments that CFNI does ministry in. What began as a step of obedience quickly became a deeply transformative experience, both for those who went and for the communities they served.
The Amazon is breathtaking — both wild and sacred —but behind its beauty are communities with a deep hunger for Jesus. Throughout the trip, the team encountered individuals eager to learn, grow, and carry the Gospel even further than visiting teams could reach. In many regions, access is restricted, and entire areas remain unreachable to outsiders. Yet God is already at work, raising up believers from within these communities — men and women who are called to return to their own people and bring the hope of the Gospel to places others cannot go.
“It was humbling to see that their desire wasn’t to leave, but to go deeper— to reach their own people,” shared Enid Jones. “That perspective shifted something in me.”
During their time in the Amazon, the team witnessed powerful moments of ministry — hearts being transformed, lives being touched, and individuals filled with renewed faith and boldness. “It reminded me that the Gospel isn’t limited by geography or comfort— it moves through willing hearts,” Enid reflected.
As Pastor Adam Bostic shared during the outreach, “Jesus desires all people groups. Many of the accessible places have already heard, but now the call is to the hard places.”
This mission is not limited to those who go. Through prayer, generosity, and partnership, each supporter plays a vital role in making these moments possible. Because of this collective “yes,” the Gospel continues to move forward. It is reaching deeper, going further, and impacting lives across nations.
And as Scripture reminds us, one day every tribe, nation, and language will stand together in worship before the Lord. CFNI remains committed to being part of that mission—equipping, sending, and supporting those called to go.
