For more than 60 years, the Native Church Roofing Program has helped provide places of worship for pastors and congregations around the world. What may seem like a simple roof often becomes a foundation for ministry, discipleship, and community transformation for decades to come.
This spring, we witnessed something truly remarkable.
Thanks to the generosity of several faithful partners. Multiple church roofing projects were not only funded, but they were also fully funded in the very same month they were approved. For the first time in recent memory, every approved church project received the support needed to move forward immediately.
Think about that for a moment.
Pastors who had been praying for provision received an answer. Congregations gathering under temporary coverings or unfinished structures could begin building permanent places for worship. Entire communities gained a visible reminder that God sees them, knows them, and provides for them.
One donor funded church after church. Another church resumed sponsoring roofs after several years away. Longtime partners faithfully continued giving month after month. Together, their generosity accomplished far more than any one person could have done alone.
That is the beauty of the Body of Christ.
Not everyone is called to travel to the nations. Not everyone is called to preach from a platform. But all of us have a part to contribute in advancing the Kingdom of God.
As we celebrate these fully funded projects, we are reminded that every gift matters. Every prayer matters. Every act of obedience matters.
We are deeply grateful for the provision God has entrusted to this ministry and for the privilege of stewarding it well. Together, we are helping create places where future generations will gather to worship, hear the Gospel, and encounter Jesus.
And perhaps the most beautiful part of all? Many of the churches that received roofs decades ago are still standing today — still reaching their communities, still making disciples, and still proclaiming the Good News. What begins as a roof often becomes a legacy!
